How your data is used

All calculations happen locally in your browser. Your debt information is never automatically sent anywhere — we don't store it on a server, and we don't sell it.

When you share a plan, your debt information is encoded in the URL fragment (the part after the #). Fragments are never sent to servers by your browser, so the data stays between you and whoever you share the link with.

Feedback form

If you choose to submit feedback, your response is handled by Tally and stored on their servers. We use it only to improve the product. We will never sell your data or use it for any other purpose.

Analytics

We use GoatCounter to count page visits and track basic usage events (such as whether someone shares a plan or enters a debt). GoatCounter does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect any personal information. No debt data is ever included in analytics events.

To distinguish first-time from returning visitors, a single value (tz_visited) is stored in your browser's localStorage. It contains no personal information — only a flag indicating you've visited before. It is never sent to any server.
